The memorable mosque is very large measures approx. 25 m across and is two bays deep, divided into three compartments. The second bay of the central compartment is entered through three arched openings. The mosque has now been extended by adding a concrete ceiling. The western wall contains three mihrab recesses. Now the all openings have been fixed with wooden frame doorway. The ceiling has been decorated with plaster of Paris. The facade has now been decorated with petradura fashion on marble and plastered work. The pulpit made of marble. On a marble tablet bearing inscription fixed above the central arch, translation; His exalted majesty the king Farrukhsiyar, the emperor, who is master of the neck of the people and favored God. Built a beautiful mosque with good intention and firm faith as a worshiping place for old and young . |
