| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The well was constructed near Madarsa of Firoz Shah Tughlaq during the Tughlaq period and is of historical significance. Well were often constructed close to the mosque, temple and residential areas and it is one of them which also became an epitome of the art and architecture of the local people. During Tughlaq period inhabitants used wells, tanks as water sources in absence of the perennial source of water. |

The well is octagonal in plan and constructed with a raised platform reached by stair from one side with an elevated circular platform. There are two rectangular walls in the inner circle of elevated platform. The well has a dressed stone facing. It has dressed stone inside also. It is in an advanced state of decay. |
