The remarkable mosque is constructed of rubble masonry with plaster and measures approx. 11.55 m by 3.93 m. It consists of three compartments with a forecourt and roofed by vaulted ceilings. The eastern facade is broken by three pointed arched openings. A red sandstone chajja is running over them supported by carved stone brackets. The flat roof is reached by a flight of steps at the south end. On its south side between the prayer chamber and the staircase is a small flat roofed chamber probably intended for the Mulla of the mosque. |
