Once while Khawaja Gharib Nawaz, Khawaja Qutub-ud-Din Bakhtiyar and Baba Fareed Gani Shakkar were praying together in the Auliya Masjid, Baba Fareed felt like having warm bread basket of Kaaks appeared from Gaib Unknown , at first Khawaja Gharib Nawaz raised his hand to receive it however was unable to hold it later Baba Fareed Ganj Shakkar stretched out his hand the basket escaped his grasp, then Khawaja Qutub-ud-deen Bakhtiyar Kaaki held out his hand the basket came in his reach and he kept it down and they all thanked Allah a Almighty and ate the bread.

Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
The monumental mosque is entered through a multifoliated arched gateway. The western Qibla wall of the enclosure has single mihrab recess in its center and it is approx. 1.8 m high, which represents the old mosque. It is probable that the original mosque which has now vanished was built by Iltutmish. Inside, there is a rectangular courtyard having coffered slab. The courtyard is semi-open having access to natural light. Certain changes are observed on the structure which is probably done in a later period
