| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | Shaikh Najibuddin was a saint of great repute and lived in Delhi where he died in 671 A.H. 1272-73 A.D. He was entitled as Mutawakkil and was a disciple and brother of Baba Farid Shakar Ganj. Mutwail means the one who has no trust in worldly things and has left his work on the trust of Allah. |

The grave lies in a small enclosure surrounded by the wall and stands on a raised platform. The modern inscriptions engraved on a small stone tablet, which is fixed to the north wall of the enclosure opposite to the graves. The inscriptions run as follows the sacred grave of his holiness Shaikh Najibuddin Mutawakkil, may the blessing of God be upon him . His death occurred in the year 671 Hijra.
