The monumental mosque which is of wall type is rectangular in plan. The west wall contains three mihrabs, the central one being emphasized by a somewhat higher frieze. The mihrab has been painted in pink and green with contrast to remaining white-complement and contrast with each other to create an impressive fusion that is glaringly vibrant and brings in sharp focus on the painstakingly executed designs and ornamentations. The roof is temporarily covered with corrugated sheets supported on a front elevation which is in brick work. |
