Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
The impressive mosque is rectangular in plan. It is three bays wide and one bay deep. It is constructed of rubble masonry plastered except the pillars which are of local dressed stone. It is roofed with a vaulted ceiling. The top of the roof reached by a staircase in the south, which is flat. The western wall consists of three mihrab recesses, central mihrab is emphasized by raising the wall. It was constructed of rubble masonry coated with plaster and the supported double pillars of the arched openings are of dressed local grey stone. A stone chhajja carried on heavy dressed stone brackets originally running over the arched openings on the east facade, but now it has almost entirely disappeared. It is painted green and white. Certain changes are observed on the structure which is probably done in a later period.
