The monumental mosque stands on a 2.1 m-high platform and is three bays wide and one bay deep, with shops on the lower floor. It is reached by climbing a small flight of narrow stairs that leads to the court. The prayer chamber is divided into three domed compartments. The domes of the mosque are covered with gilded copper. The arches around the doors are decorated with floral plasterwork and the walls appear to be whitewashed recently. The white pillars too are decorated with green floral symbols near the base. The chhajja are marked by profuse metal latticework. Minimalistic ornamentation has been done to the mosque. Side arches are relatively more elaborated. There is miniature minarets crowned with cupolas on battlemented design parapet. Its three large, grey-painted wooden doors remain locked most of the time and are opened only at the time of Namaaz. Niches in the walls contain prayer books and oil lamps.
