The large mosque is rectangular in plan and it measures 13.41 m by 5.2 m. It is constructed of rubble masonry plastered. It consists of three compartments each roofed by a vaulted or Bengali roof. It was originally three bays wide and one bay deep with pointed arched openings. Now it has been extended on both of its north and south ends. The prayer chamber which lies in the center is coated inside with white plaster and is sparingly ornamented with colored paintings. The exterior facade has been painted in green. A tin sheet roof has now been put up; partially covering the courtyard. Unsympathetically alteration of the building work causes the loss of its antiquarian value. |

The mosque building is constructed of rubble masonry coated with plaster. Floor is cladded with marble. The mihrab of the mosque has been cladded with blue-green ceramic tiles. |
