The mosque is of wall type and built of rubble masonry plastered. It has three mihrab recesses and a circular tower with at each of the north and south ends. The north and south return walls are pierced with one-arched openings. The central mihrab is emphasized by raising the wall. The wall of the mosque is crowned with battlements. The north-east and south-east corners of the courtyard are marked by small circular bastions. The courtyard which contains numerous unknown plastered graves is surrounded by an enclosure wall; on the east is a doorway giving access to the building. The courtyard measures 44m north to south by 97meast to west . |
