The mosque is a three-storeyed building. The first or basement storey which forms the floor of the mosque, consisting of five rooms, now used as shops. The upper floor consists of a prayer chamber of three compartments and enclosed open space in front of the prayer chamber accessible from a flight of ten steps. The upper portion of the entrance is decorated with six miniature ornamented cupolas and turrets on either side. It has three mihrab recesses on its western Qibla wall. It is painted in terracotta red.

The original foundation is built of rubble masonry up to the plinth level rest of the parts is of Lakhori brick masonry in lime mortar. It is finished with lime plaster. Modern building material has been used in additions and extensions. red sandstone has been used as a structural material on the roofing and some part of the flooring, rest of the floor is of marble.
