Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
The small domed building is square in plan. There is a batter in the wall which seems to suggest that it belongs to the Tughlaq period. It has a narrow arched opening on three sides, the closed west being a mihrab. The mihrabs are ornamented with arched niches. It is roofed by a high dome and octagonal drum through the application of squinches at the corners. The dome is topped by inverted lotus cresting and the central upper portion of the drum relieved with kangura pattern. Inside the tomb, there is no trace of any such grave as a tomb bears, but there exists a row of decorated niches below the ceiling. The building fits the description of Phuta Gumbad or the dilapidated dome.
