| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | Khawaja Abdul Aziz Bastami was a Saint of the Suhrawardi sect, but little else is known of him. Hazrat Bakhtiyar Kaki purchased this entire land from Abdul Aziz which becomes the final resting place for him and the pious Sheikh Aziz too was accorded a place of honor with his grave located so close to the Khwaja s tomb. |

The beautiful twelve-pillared pavilion tomb is square in plan and adorned internally with alluring mirror work with a small chandelier sprouting from a floral motif in the center of the roof. The cenotaph is kept covered with a cloth and is enclosed by a marble balustrade. The cenotaph measures 2.2 m by 1.14 m. Over the grave is an arched pavilion with three muitifoliated arches on each face. The roof has a marble parapet. The roof is supported by ornamental fluted columns. |
