| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This is an important well is of the Early Mughal period. It is in the close proximity of Humayun s tomb complex and it has its own significance. The need to tap groundwater, store rainwater and to make it accessible to the human population living surrounding has led to the construction of several tanks and well, which also became an epitome of the art and architecture of the local people. |
