The massive double-storyed gateway constructed on rectangular plan, ground is used as an entrance gateway. It is a brick building with a single-bay pointed arched entrance and a decorative outer cusped arch topped by a black miniature ribbed dome. There is a Chajja on the front facade of the building supported by stone brackets. The upper storey originally served as a drum house wherein drum was played to announce the arrival of an important personage or in times of religious festivals. |
