| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The gateway leads directly to the courtyard of the tomb of Qutub Sahib. It generally kept close and serves as a subsidiary entrance to the Inner enclosure. It play an important role during annual festival of Phool Walon Ki Sair festival, generally held in the month of Septermber, just after rainy season. |

The beautiful monumental gateway is rectangular in plan and made of marble. It has multi-foliated arched openings. It measures approx. 2.37 m by 1.31 m. There is a marble slab fixed over the doorway written in Hindi as well Urdu. The marble cladded slab contains decorative features like lotus bund, floral medallion and tendril etc. The parapet also made of marble in guldasta pattern. |
