| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This is a tomb of 14th century Sufi Saint Baba Sheikh Hafiz Riyazuddin. He lived around the same time as Hazrat Sheikh Shahabuddin. He is some of the earliest Sufi saints who entered Delhi and established the order. He is far less popular than his contemporaries, but it is still important. He was titled as Hafiz-a-Quran. Hafiz literally meaning guardian or memorizer , is a term used by Muslims for someone who has completely memorized the Quran. Having memorized the Quran, the hafiz must then ensure they do not forget it. |

The structure is rectangular in plan with vaulted roof. It seems to be the real cenotaph made in lower ground with no window and ventilators. The entrance to the shrine is approx. 1 m below the ground level.Inside the vaulted chamber the distinct blue and green colour cloth, which contains a religious value on the grave is unique. |
