The Library has a large number of books in talugu hindi, Kanada, Marathi, Sanskrit,. The state central library was formerly known as Asafia libarary. which was founded by Moulvi Syed Husain Bilgrami in 1891 A.D. The new building of the State central library was constructed on the banks of River Musi, and the name state Central Library was given in 1948 A.D. The building has mixed Indian and European architectural style. |
