The clock tower has been built in the European style, and is listed for its architectural importance. The foundation of the clock tower was laid by Nawab Zafar Jung Bahadur Nawab Shams-ul-Mulk , the minister of defence on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Nizam VI. The entire amount for the construction was paid by the Nawab. |
