The Jami Masjid was the first mosque in the city, which was built after the construction of the mosque in the charminar, during the reigh of Muhammed Quli Qutub shah. Attached to this mosque were a school, a khanquah, and a Turkish bath.. The mosque was repaired during the reign of Sikhander jah Asaf Jah- III. The Jami Masjid is built in the Qutub Shahi style. |
