A two storied structure built of red brick in Indo-sarcenic manner, this structure is, on plan, a rectangle. A porch leads to a verandah no, behind this on the first floor are a number of rooms used by the staff and by researchers. The stacks of books are at the read on the first floor there are larger rooms now used as offices by the Director and other high fficials. Elsewhere in a fairly large compund, there are smaller structures of no architectural merit. |
