The cylindrical Pillars on all sides of the Palace evidence beauty and splendour . The semi circular wooden stair case are found on either side of the entrance hall . They join at the centre of the balcony. There are artistic designs designs on the wooden stair cases. The building has a square shape . The The main side is face towards the East . The wooden panelling and the Rib types tiles used in the Palace are typical of the Kerala Style. The burned bricks have been used for construction . This is a two storied building . The structure shows the column style . Construction shows the integration between colonial style and indigenous style. The Chinese polished tiles are paved or the floor . The balcony seldom found in other palaces is found here. |
