| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This sacred place was Guru Nanak Sahib s residence and the first place in Sultanpur Lodhi where Guru Sahib and his new wife Sulakhani came after his sister Bibi Nanaki s husband Jai Ram ji had arranged a job for him as an accountant in charge of the stores of the Muslim governor of Sultanpur Daulat Khan Lodi. |

This is a double storey building made on a rectangular plan. The main entrance is approached by a flight of stairs leading to an arch with a door having oblong Bengali Chattri with a decorated railing in front. There are multiple screen work niches on either side of the main entrance. The structure has two hexagonal bastions with iron railing on bottom on either side of the main entrance. There is a central ribbed dome with an inverted lotus and pinnacle at top having an oblong Bengali Chattri in front of it and two another ribbed domes surmounted on a hexagonal bases with multiple arched entrances. |

The structure is built using modern building materials and is coated with lime plaster. The central dome is painted with gold. Tiles and marble have been used. |
