| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | Guru Gobind Singh had been here once before when he went on his way to Kurukshetra in 1702. A small Gurdwara was first constructed here around 1930 by Sardar Bahadur Dharam Singh 1881-1933 . This place also commemorates a battle between Guru Gobind Singh and two Mughal forces, that had occurred near here years ago. The present building was raised in 1963 by Sant Piara Singh of Jhar Sahib. |

It is built on a rectangular plan. It is built on a raised plinth. It is a double storey structure.It has an arched entrance. The entrance has small chattri on either side. The square sanctum lies on the ground floor within a square hall. Above the sanctum, is a bulbous ribbed dome with inverted lotus and finial. There are chattri on all corners with ribbed dome, inverted lotus and finial. There are two small domical chattri and one Bengali roof chattri. |
