| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | When SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI decided to leave the Garhi on Hukam of Panj Pyara Sahibs. Along with three Sikhs, Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharam Singh and Bhai Man Singh they left the Garhi. They went in a different direction, promising to meet later at a common place guided by the position of certain stars. Since GURU SAHIB did not wish to leave unannounced, GURU GOBIND SINGH JI, upon reaching the mound where now stands GURUDWARA TARRI LITERALLY, A CLAP SAHIB, clapped and shouted Here goes the Pir of Hind the saint of India From their different points the three Sikhs also raised shouts. This baffled the besieging host, and SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI and the Sikhs were soon gone out of harm s way. The GURUDWARA SAHIB situated at the site from where SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI had proclaimed his departure by hand clapping. |

It is a double storeyed structure built on a rectangular plan. The temple is built on a raised platform and is approached by a stepped staircase. The structure has arched openings with rectangular doorways. The upper storey has multiple arched openings. The structure has ribbed domes and multiple Chhatris at the top. |
