| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The original Gurdwara was constructed here by Sardar Hardial Singh of Bela in 1831. It was replaced during the 1960s by a new complex raised under the supervision of Bhai Piara Singh of Jhar Sahib and later of Bhai Bishan Singh of Amritsar. |

It is also known as Gurudwara Shahidganj. This Gurdwara marks the site where the thickest hand to hand fighting took place in December 1704 between the mughal army and the Sikhs, including the Sahibzadas and three of the original five Panj Pyare. |

It is a double storey building. The square sanctum has octagonal turrets on all four corners. These turrets are crowned with ribbed domes. The main dome in the center stands on the second storey which has balconied windows on all four sides. |
