| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The foundation stone for the structure is laid by Mrs B.G. Holdsworth, on 22nd December, 1933. The building was inagurated by Janaki Rajaee, the mother of the Raja of pudukkottai on 4th March, 1936. The construction was financed by Rao Bahadur and Subbiah Chettiyar. |

The single storeyed building has been erected on a raised plinth. The structure is brick built and plastered. The roof is of concrete. The ground plan consists of a square front portico followed by a verandah behind which are rooms of verying sizes. The portico and the verandah display round-arched openings. |
