The park site was chosen to house statues of Colonial importance but only seven statues are there. Out of these seven statues the marble statue of King George V was brought here which was previously placed under the canopy at India Gate. The Park is also known as the Coronation Memorial .There is a square column which is tapering toward the top. There is a flight of stairs on all four sides that lead to the column. |
