The entry is from the west direction as the altar is placed in the east direction.The building has curved high arches, columns, dome lantern and gabled roof and all these elements are combined in an impressive manner. The front facade of the church is monumental and magnificent. The lower storey has a projected porch which has three semi-circular arch openings. The central arch has set of two tall columns on each side. Inner columns are cylindrical whereas the outer ones are rectangular. The roof of this projected porch is gabled on the sides. The upper central portion of the facade has projected architectural elements adorned with pillars, gabled roof and Pediments. The central high tower is octagonal in shape and has rectangular openings on the facade. The tower is roofed by an impressive bulbous dome which is crowned by a lantern and a cross. |
