The magnificent building is a double-storeyed structure constructed on a high plinth and is entered through semi-circular arch openings. The external walls over the plinth form a large expanse relieved by regular pilasters with equal rhythms. The plain moulding that curves around the openings is very prominent. The arched doors have a fixed semicircular fan light above the normal door. All windows are rectangular with wire mess frame fixed with glass. Mouldings have been used to articulate the building form, in the classical tradition. The cornice is the most elaborate, being more like an overhang. The pilaster has a block-like pattern at ground floor level. It has been painted in a soft combination of off-white and yellow. |

The building is constructed of Standard English bricks masonry in lime mortar and is finished with lime plaster. Iron reinforcement has been used for the beams. Red sandstone has been used as structural material for roofing. Doors and windows are made of wood and glass is used in windows. |
