The impressive three-storyed building has a highly decorative facade. The ground floor has many shops, while the upper floors are in their original state. With a series of arches on the facade embellished with lattice screens work. Mouldings have been used to articulate the building form, in the classical tradition. The plain moulding that curves around the openings is very prominent. The external walls over the plinth relieved by regular pilasters with equal rhythms. Sitting on a moulded base the pilasters are circular and they are surmounted by a Corinthian capital. The external arches over the doorway are semicircular and enhanced with large keystones . The fragmented guldatas crowned the superstructure. The arcaded-jali pattern hanging motifs on the center of the second story dominating the building. It has been painted in a soft combination of off-white and yellow. |
