The canopy is hexagonal in plan and stands on an artificial mound which forms an excellent vantage point for all the surrounding structures. The plastered dome is supported on six minimally carved stone columns and over the columns are flat lintels. The semicircular arches above the lintel level made in relief. The dome springs about 1.5 m above lintel level and is crowned with inverted lotus cresting. |
