The remarkable tomb is square in plan and measures 5.65 sq. m and is roofed by a plastered dome topped with a finial. The hemispherical dome is supported on 12 local grey stone pillars and the spaces between them were originally filled in with red sandstone jali screens. A chajja runs round the building carried on stone beams resting on the minimally carved capitals of the pillars. Immediately to the west of the tomb, there is a small enclosure with a gateway. Inside is a stone grave lies in an enclosure, on a raised platform. The building is whitewashed. There is a modern inscription on a stone tablet fixed over the doorway, runs thus; Shaikh Haidar, may the peace of God be upon him . The year 759 A.H. 1357-58 A.D.

The tomb is constructed of dressed stone columns and the domed roof is made of random rubble masonry finished with plaster.
