Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
The tomb is hexagonal in plan and stands on a high plinth. The hemispherical plaster dome which springs from an octagonal drum is supported on 6 stone columns and is crowned by inverted lotus cresting. There is a Chajja all around the building, over which is a frieze of local grey stone. The domes of the Tughlaq era of Hauz Khas monuments have domes which are slightly elongated at the top, they are not very round but hemispherical. Further, around the dome midway there is portraying exquisite architectural features of foliated or battlements motif like patterns. Ornamentation on the underside of the dome with incised plaster is much impressive.
