The gateway has a two-bay deep arched structure made of brick and has flat roof. There is a decorated Semi-circular arch on the front facade and three pointed arched opening inside. It is built with three-storeyed building and has shops on either side of the entrance gateway on the ground floor. On entering the gateway the facade of the building is highly impressive and is decorated with floral and geometric pattern. The star-shaped medallion adorns the spandrels and on both, the sides continue to maintain the character of the street and are important, though in itself the plan of the building was originally built with balcony on the first floor, which is now covered. The original stone brackets still can be seen, which originally supports the projected chajja. The gateway leads to a large street with shops on both sides. |
