It is a two chambered temple. The vimana stands on a high plinth. In front of the vimana is a big rectangular hall. The gandi of the temple contains angasikharas. The temple is a dominating tower of the town and shows peculiar characteristics. Height of the temple is about 80 feet. The gandi of the temple contians verious erotic sculptures. there are beautiful sculptures of Chinnamasta, Ramchandi and various other sculptures. A beautiful naga image is also found in the temple. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Samalesvari. |
