It is a two chambered temple raised on a high plinth. The Vimana is of rekha order while the Jagamohana is a flat roofed hall. Both the structures are surrounded by a circumambulatory path giving the appearance of a sandhara temple. The height of the temple is about 45 feet. The temple has been renovated and white washed. The ceiling of the temple has been beautifully painted with scroll work done inside the mandapa. The presiding deity of the temple is goddess Samalesvari. The other deities inside the vimana are Kali, Mangala, Bhubanesvari, Sitala, Siva, Patakhanda, Chhatra Navagrahas |
