It is a two storeyed building built in an old style. It has more than 100 rooms. The main gateway has impressive sculptures. The images of Ganesa, Ganga, Jamuna, secular figures, scrolls,naga coils are found on the main gateway. Several old paintings adorn the walls inside the matha. This is the biggest of all mathas in Puri and a very rich one. It is well known for the service it renders to the society and to the Bada Deula Jagannatha Temple . |
