| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This house is a part of the large residential complex constructed by Sethu Bava Swami, the priest of the Maratha kings. The agraharam is named after this priest. The rooms of the present house were mainly used for Puja purposes by the Brahmins of those days. |

The tinnai of the house originally had a thatched roof supported by bamboo pillars, this has now been replaced by Mangalore tiled roof resting on wooden pilllars. The house possesses the reli, the koodam and the kitchen. Except for the tinnai, the roof of almost the entire building is of the vaulted type. |
