The fort wall is over five feet in breadth. At some places, stone-stairways flanked by brick-built and plastered balusters lead to the top of the wall. At some spots, guard-rooms and other structures have been built along the inner or outer face of the wall. This fort wall originally enclosed the old palace and most parts of the old town. |
