The structure is erected on a raised plinth and is plastered. The building consists of ground floor and first floor and the roof is of the Madras terrace type. The ground plan includes rooms of varying sizes preceded by a front verandah. Along the outer edge of this verandah, are a row of arch-shaped openings, these arches unlike the other arched openings in most other 19th and early 20th century buildings at Pudukkottai, are pointed at the top. |
