| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | There is an inscription corresponding to 1746 AD on one of the silver mohras mask of the deity kept in the temple, belonging to the period of Raja Tedhi Singh of Kullu. Based on this inscription it may be said that the temple was built in 1746 AD. |

The temple is raised on a high platform. It is square in plan and walls built of wood and stone masonry locally known as katth-kuni. It has verandah on all sides supported by wooden pillars It has four multi-tiered pyramidal roofs which are covered with slates. |
