It is a beautiful carved Mandapa found on the side of the tank. A pidha type roof is supported by four seculptured pillars on a slightly elevated base of the mandapa. Both inner and outer parts of the pidha roof are carved with the sculptures of cult deities. Secular figures and decorative motifs. The base of the mandapa is also beautifully carved. A Nakara head below the mandapa acts as the inlet of water into the tank. Height of the mandapa is about 15 feet. |
