The memorable mosque is rectangular in plan and is three bays wide, divided into three compartments. The central bay is emphasized and entered through the arched opening. The mosque has now been extended by adding a concrete ceiling. The western wall contains three mihrab recesses. The ceiling has been decorated with plaster of paris. The pulpit is made of marble. The verandah of the mosque is supported by pillar. On the marble head-stone of Faiz Muhammad Khan s grave, the inscription begins with the Muhammadan creed and then runs as follows - when the Nawab departed from this abode of sorrow, I disturbed the whole world with violent grief .
