The mosque is of wall type and is rectangular in plan with a large forecourt. Its western Qibla wall has seven mihrab recesses with a height of approx. 2.5 m. There are decorative arched niches in between the mihrab and a projecting moulding all along the top edge. The enclosure has been greatly extended and altered. The extended portion covered with tin shade propped by the pillar. Zafar Hasan describes thus; It is a big wall mosque. |
