| Topographical Description / स्थलाकृतिक विवरण | Patiala district forms a part of the Indo-Gangetic plain. It is composed of the materials deposited by rivers during recent geological past. Its land surface slopes in the north-east-south-east direction with a gentle gradient of about 0.8 meter per kilometre. The whole area of the Patiala district is covered by Indo-Gangetic alluvium. The structure lies in the semi urban setup of the city. |

It is a complex that is built on a rectangular plan. The complex has a huge fa ade with multi foliated arched entrance. There are multiple niches on the fa ade. Several aerial windows can be clearly seen. This gateway leads to the interior where there is a huge courtyard with verandah around. The verandah has multiple arched openings supported on circular columns. |
