It is a majestic triple-storey building raised on a rectangular plan. It has a majestic facade with arched opening. The entrance leads to a rectangular courtyard which is surrounded by pillared verandah on all four sides. There are multiple rooms on the ground floor. The barracks are found in the second and third floor. The building is entered through an elevated gateway with high circular columns flanking the arched opening. Above the arched gateway, the facade is ornamented with a semi-circular arch design. At the centre of the parapet, the uniquely designed panel consisting of arched openings and latticed screen gives the facade a grand look. This is an impressive colonial building. The ground floor functions as the office of the Police station. |
