| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This is the oldest medical college in Delhi named after Lady Hardinge, the wife of the viceroy Lord Hardinge. The foundation stone was laid on 17th march 1914 and the college became functional on 7th feburary 1916. |

The two storey building of the hospital is based on a rectangular plan. It is entered through a porch which further leads to an spacious hall. There is a grand staircase which leads to the upper floor. An Arcaded corridor runs around at the rear end of the structure. The parapet was originally adorned with a canopy on each corner but now only two has survived. |

The wall of this structure is made up of brick masonry and plastered with lime and cement. Floor is made up of stone and marble. Wood, steel and glass is are used in the windows and doors. |
