The madrasa building along with a mosque is shrouded in haphazardly constructed urban area which overshadows the structure. The multi-cusped arched gateway leads to the central large courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard a large rectangular water tank, which has trefoil shaped faces width wise , is constructed for the purpose of ceremonial ablutions before prayer and other religious rituals. On the western side there is an impressive mosque which has arcaded openings, arched niches, minars, parapet adorned with kangoora pattern and bulbous domes. The northern and southern sides comprise the double storey structure and also either side and top of the main entrance. The arcaded corridors on ground level are on the four sides punctuated by main gateway. The multi-cusped arches supported on the columns of sandstone from the outer face of the corridors and give access to the rooms of the madrasa. The projected chajja is supported by the stone brackets. The upper storey also has rooms on all three sides. The circular columns, lattice railings, mouldings, kangoora patterns, multi-cusped arches and small pointed arched niches are some of the features which highlight the aesthetic value of the heritage structure. The mosque has eight openings and an inscription over the central one. the first floor has a terrace over the verandah. |

Mosque is made up of red sandstone. Minarets are painted with white and red colours. Ground floor of Madarsa is made up of sandstone while the upper part is made up of Lakhori bricks. It has been coated with lime. It has wooden doors and windows. Iron railings can be seen on the upper part of the Madarsa. |
