The mosque is raised on a rectangular plan. There are six turrets around the structure. It has multi-cusped arch gateway. The spandrels are decorated with geometrical patterns. All turret and niches are painted in blue colour. Shahi Masjid Zabta Ganj lays half inside the water channel constructed during the British period. The reflection in the water gives an impression of floating mosque. |

The structure is made up of lakori bricks and plastered with lime mortar and cement plaster. The walls are painted with distemper. |
